Michaele (pronounced Michelle) McNelis is the Director of Wealth Management at Family Wealth Management Group in Sewickley, PA. Using a holistic approach, Michaele coordinates a healthy overall financial plan for each of her clients which include individuals, families and business owners.
Michaele has earned her Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) and her Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant designation (CRPC) from the College of Financial Planning. She has more than twenty-five years of combined small business and financial services experience. Using a sensible and holistic approach, she coordinates all aspects of her clients financial assets including investments, retirement plans, insurance policies, disability income, long-term care, business and estate planning, medical directives, etc. Her clients appreciate that she is able to educate them and help them plan responsibly for their futures.
Michaele grew up on a farm in Western Pennsylvania and learned early the importance of hard work and planning in advance. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. After graduation, she returned home to work in her dream job as an officer for a family-owned electrical contracting company. In 2002 she discovered her passion as a financial advisor. Michaele is able to give her clients practical and real-life advice with her personal experiences in small business, real estate, divorce, aging parents, medical issues, and especially how to avoid writing very large checks for estate taxes with careful estate planning.
Michaele enjoys traveling and tries to visit a new place at least once a year. She is very active in her church and community, having served on the administrative board at Crossroads Church, and for five years as a trustee for Jubilee Christian School. She enjoys working out and is a former group leader for First Place 4 Health, a national movement that encourages healthy living. She enjoys golfing and spent five years volunteering for the PGA Senior Tour where she worked for the hospitality committee and served as the Chairman of Player Relations. Currently she spends her free time at her son’s baseball games and her daughter’s rodeos.
Michaele enjoys the opportunity of having a strong personal relationship with her clients as well as the responsibility of making their time and money work in concert. She’s is frequently asked to speak and educate on the topics of investing, retirement, women and finance, and holistic financial planning.
